Award-winning author Jonathan Safran Foer has reduced the asking price of his Park Slope townhouse to $13 million.

Foer listed the seven-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom home, where he and his wife, writer Nicole Krauss lived, for $14.5 million in October. The literary couple separated before they put their 646 2nd Street home on the market, Curbed reported. It is one of the most expensive Park Slope townhouses currently listed.

The 7,670-square-foot limestone townhouse features eight fireplaces, stained glass windows and skylights, original oak and maple woodwork, a solarium with Tiffany glass and the largest private garden in brownstone Brooklyn, according to the Douglas Elliman listing.

Foer received acclaim as a wunderkind writer for his novels “Everything is Illuminated” and “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” both of which he published while in his twenties. Both of the books were adapted into feature-length films. [Curbed]Sasha von Oldershausen
