Modeled after the Miraval spa in the Arizona desert, 515 East 72nd Street is a 41-story condo residence with many amenities for active residents — including a swimming pool, a basketball court, yoga facilities and a rock-climbing wall. The 329-unit building also boasts the largest on-premises private park in New York City, with 20,000 square feet of greenery two stories above street level. But things haven’t exactly gone smoothly since the River Terrace Apartments-developed project first hit the market in early 2010: Early on, some buyers ended up selling off their apartments at steep losses. But sales have picked up as of late. Of the 329 units, 15 were available at press time, with prices ranging from $835,000 to $7.8 million. Acheson Doyle Partners is the architect of the record.
