The current owner purchased the 12-acre property, which once belonged to architect Augustus Saint-Gaudens, in the 1980s.

According to the listing the house is “set in an enchanting garden of flowers and trees. Land on both sides of the road ensures privacy.” It also features views of Mt. Ascutney, with trails, woods and garden spots “to sit and dream.” [NYP]Christopher Cameron
