CityTarget, Target’s brand for urban areas, inked a lease at City Point, a massive retail center that is currently under construction in Downtown Brooklyn.

CityTarget will occupy 125,000 square feet — or the entire second floor — at the complex, according to the New York Daily News. It’s the store’s first location in New York City. The deal also includes storage space on the third floor of the retail center.

The deal was signed about a year ago. Century 21 and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema are also leasing at the Acadia Realty Trust-developed location where rents are more than $20 per square foot and top out at $40 per square foot, according to the newspaper. [NYDN] — Claire Moses
