HBO released a new trailer for “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst,” its upcoming six-part documentary series on the estranged brother of the Durst Organization’s chairman Douglas Durst.

The miniseries is expected to focus more on several unsolved crimes tied to the millionaire, rather than his real estate dealings. Robert Durst appeared in more than 25 hours of interview footage, while the Durst family did not participate. The filmmakers explored the circumstances surrounding Durst’s alleged role in the disappearance of his first wife and the murder of his close friend.

“The Jinx” is set to premiere on Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. — Mark Maurer
