The Real Deal New York

Ron Burkle, George Clooney pick up Westhampton resort

The joint venture paid $19 million for the property

The Dune Deck Beach Resort in Westhampton Beach – a former Hamptons hot spot — has sold for $19 million to a developer backed by billionaire Ron Burkle, actor George Clooney and entertainment industry businessman Rande Gerber.

The sellers, Medallion Financial Corp.’s Alvin and Andrew Murstein, paid jut $700,000 for the property in 2010, according to the New York Post.

Burkle, Clooney and Gerber are developing a luxury home and golf community on a 500-acre tract of land near the site. The Dune Deck – an eight-acre facility on the ocean — would presumably become part of that project. [NYP]Christopher Cameron

She is a terrorist in America for a terrorist recon strike against
America. If America kills this terrorist first, America will be the
victor. If she sets the stage for another major terrorist strike against
America and New York City, America will bleed at the enemies hands once
again after another September 11. America needs to get rid of this
    terrorist fast and soon.

Unfortunately The Real Deal is not fact checking the Real Numbers when it comes to Real Estate Deals!! Lets get the facts straight! !) This property was not purchased for $700,000 2) I held a $2,400,000 mortgage on the property thereby making the purchase price indicated impossible. 3) The property has less than 5 acres not 8 as indicated in the article. 4) There is no 550 acre parcel in all West Hampton Beach! Honestly I cant imagine that you can print this article!! I think the paper needs some fact checking before it gets embarrassed by a person in the know. Please check the property sales/transfer price since all other information is incorrect you may be surprised to find out the Murstein’s provided incorrect or inflated information.
