Chetrit offers first look at 324-unit Jamaica resi conversion
Developer to construct four new buildings on former Mary Immaculate Hospital site
The Chetrit Group has unveiled the first renderings for its conversion of the Mary Immaculate Hospital in Jamaica into a residential complex.
There will be four new buildings on the site, located at 150-13 89th Street, near Rufus King Park, New York YIMBY reported. The tallest one will rise 16 stories, or 96 feet. Chetrit plans to demolish a garage, and restore the main 94-foot-tall building.
The new properties are slated to span 298,000 square feet of residential space and collectively hold 324 apartments. There will also be a 237-space underground parking garage.
Goldstein, Hill & West is serving as the architect.
