Jane Wenner, co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine and ex-wife of Jann Wenner, has found a buyer for her Upper West Side townhouse.

Located at 37 West 70th Street, the brownstone hit the market in November 2014 and went into contract June 6, according to Donna Olshan’s Olshan Luxury Market Report.

The 7,200-square-foot townhouse was asking $17.95 million, or nearly $2,500 per square foot. The 20-foot wide, five-story home has seven bedrooms, four full bathrooms, seven fireplaces and a wine cellar.

The Wenners bought the townhouse in 1987 for a reported $4.2 million from the estate of fashion designer Perry Ellis. Jane and Jann Wenner split in 1995 and in 2010, Jane Wenner paid just over $4 million for Jann’s ownership stake in the townhouse. The couple formally divorced in 2011.

Mark Thomas Amadei and Roberta Golubock of Sotheby’s International Realty shared the listing.

The brownstone was built in 1891 by Gilbert Schellenger. When owned by Ellis, the designer restored original wood details and added features like Art Deco bathrooms from London’s Savoy Hotel. The Wenners commissioned American designer and sculptor Ward Bennett to “bring the house fully into the 20th century,” according to the listing.

Wenner Media publishes Rolling Stone, Us Weekly and Men’s Journal. In April, Rolling Stone retracted a widely-disputed story about a gang rape at the University of Virginia.
