Starchitect César Pelli is the new owner of a $17.5 million at the San Remo on the Upper West Side.

The principal of Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects bought the unit together with his wife Diana Balmori, according to 6sqft.

Actor John Leguizamo’s mother-in-law Rona Maurer is the seller of the 4,900-square-foot, 12-room pad. The apartment boasts 65 feet of Central Park views, the website reported. The swanky unit also includes three entertaining rooms, high ceilings and a marble entry gallery.

The former owner was sued in June for allegedly covering up the sale of the apartment to try to hide the profits from her stepdaughter, who is married to Leguizamo, the New York Post reported in June.

Demi Moore is looking to sell her unit in the building for $75 million.

Among Pelli’s designs are the World Financial Center, One Beacon Court and three Battery Park City buildings, according to the site. [6sqft]Claire Moses
