Unfortunately though, the Brooklyn concept is ephemeral. The Cat’s Meow opens today and runs until October 24th, according to Gothamist.

The cafe is a collaboration between Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition (BBAWC) and WeRuVa Pet Food. Snacks and coffee from Red Lantern Bicycle and Brooklyn Sweet Spot will also be served.

Visitors can reserve half hour slots for just $5 with the option to adopt the kitties. Adoption fees are $100 and include spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, according to Gothamist. [Gothamist] Christopher Cameron
