The oft-traded Rothschild Mansion on the Upper East Side is changing hands once again. The six-story home sold last week for the third time since 2012, trading for $33 million.

Neither buyer nor seller were disclosed, with the buyer an LLC affiliated with an offshore holding company, according to property records filed with the city Wednesday.

Sotheby’s International Realty’s Serena Boardman listed the eight-bedroom Rothschild Mansion, located at 41 East 70th Street between Madison and Park avenues, for $40 million last year before dropping the asking price to $35 million earlier this year.

Steel magnate Leroy Schecter acquired the 86-year-old, 13,000-square-foot mansion for $25 million in 2012 before selling it for $32 million a year later.

Attorneys for law firm DLA Piper, which represented the buyer in this latest transaction, did not return requests for comment.

Boardman could not be reached for comment. The broker also has the listing on Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim’s Duke-Semans Mansion at 1009 Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side.

Slim is asking $80 million for the property, which would make it the priciest townhouse ever sold in New York City.
