Talk about “Moneyball”: Jonah Hill pays $9M for Noho pad

Oscar-nominated actor Jonah Hill, of “Moneyball” and “The Wolf of Wall Street” fame, just bought a four-bedroom pad at the Schumacher building in Noho for $9.2 million.

The 3,280-square-foot unit at 36 Bleecker Street, between Mott and Mulberry streets, was previously asking $9.5 million and comes with an “extensive wall space designed to showcase large-scale works of art,” according to a Douglas Elliman listing. Elliman brokers John Gomes and Fredrik Eklund had the listing.

The apartment also features original restored columns and beams that hearken back to the building’s former use as a printing factory, according to the New York Post. Bedrooms are located in a “private wing” overlooking a courtyard garden designed by landscape architect Ken Smith, who also designed a 17,000-square-foot rooftop garden at the Museum of Modern Art that’s closed off to the general public.

The 32-year-old Hill, who’s come a long way from his starring role in 2007 teen comedy flick “Superbad,” listed his 2,000-square-foot, full-floor apartment at 27 Howard Street in Soho for nearly $4 million in 2014.
