Charlie Lewis, Warburg’s No. 2 agent, has jumped to the Corcoran Group after nearly nine years at the company. The move is a homecoming of sorts for Lewis, who did a brief seven-month stint at Corcoran before joining Warburg in 2007.

He will be based out of Corcoran’s flagship office at 660 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.

Lewis was the senior managing director of Warburg Realty’s Harlem office before moving to the firm’s Tribeca office. In 2015 he was ranked both the No. 1 broker in the Tribeca office and the No. 2 broker of the entire firm for the year. He brokered more than $250 million in real estate deals over the course of his 11-year career, according to Corcoran.

In a statement, Lewis said he appreciated “the depth of services and expansion opportunities” afforded by Corcoran [TRData].

Lewis’ move comes on the heels of a massive effort by Warburg to reinvigorate its image.

CEO Frederick Peters’ daughter Clelia Peters was named president of the firm earlier this year, becoming responsible for the company’s overall strategic vision, and the firm’s four offices all have new sales directors. Brennan Zahler, the former manager of Town Residential’s Greenwich Village office, was named sales director for Warburg’s Tribeca flagship in February.

A spokesperson for Warburg was not immediately available for comment.
