One of Prospect Park’s best mansions sells “2 hours” after listing

That is if you can believe a broker's Instagram account…

The promotional emails and invites to open house parties started pouring in last week for one of Prospect Park’s best Victorians. It seemed like it was going to be a typical listing for reality star broker Ryan Serhant. But this one may have gone a bit better than expected.

About two week ago, Serhant announced that the 10,000-square-foot mansion at 1305 Albemarle Road just south of Prospect Park would debut on the market on July 22nd. But that appears to be all the marketing the rare home needed, according to Curbed.

According to the Instagram accounts of listing agents Serhant and Rachel Simons – and if you decided that they are worth believing – the home sold just two hours after hitting the market.

The 22-room Brooklyn home was definitely a deal by Manhattan standards with an asking price of just $2.98 million.
