The Four Seasons restaurant may have sold everything and shut its doors. But the owners of the famed power lunch spot are trying something a little different while they relocate: a pop-up in the Hamptons.

On Thursday, Julian Niccolini and Alex von Bidder are throwing a one-night event at the Oreya restaurant and lounge at the Capri hotel in Southampton, according to the New York Post. If things go well, they say it could become a regular affair.

“It’s going to be just like my birthday party. I’m going to burst into flames with all the excitement and jump into the pool,” Joanna Fisher, wife of real estate guru Brian Fisher, told the Post. Fisher once dove into the restaurant’s pool when a candle caught her mink-and-python-skin jacket on fire.

Many of the restaurant’s regulars are expected to attend the Hamptons pop-up. [NYP] – Christopher Cameron
