DJ Khalad, the Miami-based rap industry mogul known for his unusual motivational speeches, is house hunting in NYC.

Khalad reached meme status when he handed a model a stack of cash in his viral video, “You Smart, You Loyal,” with the instruction, “Go buy your mama a house. Go buy your whole family houses.” Truly words to live by.

Now, with a baby on the way, Khalad and his fiancée Nicole Tuck seem to be taking that sage advice. The couple was recently spotted touring the penthouse of 234 East 23rd Street in Gramercy Park, which is listed for $12.5 million, according to the New York Post. The listing brokers are Town Residential’s Steve Gold and Dana Power.

Building amenities include a gym, library, a garden and a rooftop space with an outdoor kitchen. No pool though it seems. Where will Khalad pour his champagne?

But they might be facing competition from other boldface names. Reps for singer Adele recently inquired about getting the unit as a short-term rental to stay in while she was in town.
