Ice hotels seem to be popping up everywhere. But we bet you haven’t seen anything like this.
While many ice buildings — for obvious reasons — boast a minimal aesthetic, Italian architect Luca Roncoroni deceided to create something more Victorian.
Roncoroni traveled to the Arctic Circle to design this Victorian Ice Suite for the Icehotel 365 in Jukkasjärvi, Sweden, according to Bloomberg. Rooms at the luxury hotel can cost $1,000 a night.
It took Roncoroni nearly 10 tons of ice and 135 hours to hand-carve every detail in the suite. Watch him create it below.
