WATCH: Gilmartin on FCR, Massey on mayoral run, Levine on 421a and more from the industry’s biggest night of the year

It’s real estate’s prom night and, as always, The Real Deal was there to cover the ultimate schmoozefest for the city’s real estate elite.

The Real Estate Board of New York’s annual banquet attracts everyone who’s anyone, and this year, though some big fish skipped the event to attend the presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C., the room was still stacked. TRD’s Managing web editor Hiten Samtani spoke with John Banks about REBNY’s push into the outer boroughs, MaryAnne Gilmartin about what being a REIT means for Forest City Ratner and Paul Massey about the promising start to his run for mayor.
