Bjarke Ingels’ firm BIG is getting even bigger — and that might mean a move to Dumbo.

The Danish architect behind projects such as the Spiral in Hudson Yards and Via 57 West, is considering taking 52,000 square feet across the entire ninth floor of Two Trees Management’s TRData LogoTINY 45 Main Street, Crain’s reported, citing sources. The talks are in early stages and they may not result in a lease.

Ingels wants to move the office so he can be closer to home, according to the publication. In 2015, he spent $3.9 million on a three-bedroom duplex at 205 Water Street, a short walk from the potential new office.

In 2014, the firm took 22,000 square feet at RXR Realty’s 61 Broadway, moving from its previous office at the Starrett-Lehigh Building.  At that time, the firm’s New York City office had 100 staffers. The number of employees has since doubled, according to Crain’s.

Last year, advertising firm 72andSunny took 50,000 square feet at Empire Stores’ office conversion in Dumbo. [Crain’s]Miriam Hall
