Sale of main house at Jackie Kennedy’s family estate in East Hampton closes

The main house at Lasata, the East Hampton estate where Jackie Kennedy spent her childhood, sold this week, following the sale of a 4-acre portion of the property the week before. The latest listing price for the main property was $29.995 million, but details of the sale were not announced. Jackie O’s grandfather, “Major” Bouvier, owned the estate in her childhood. The most recent owner was Reed Krakoff, the former creative director of Coach, and his wife Delphine. [27 East]
