Consultants hired by East Hampton to plan for the future of the hamlets of Wainscott, East Hampton, Springs, Amagansett and Montauk reported back to the town with ideas to protect them from sea-level rise. The consultants also suggested changes across the area to rebuild beaches and dunes as a buffer against storm surges. [EHS]
