East Hampton home of Marjorie Merriweather Post’s daughter sells for $8.2M

The former home of Nedenia Hartley, who went under the stage name Dina Merrill, was bought by the daughter from her first marriage, Nedenia Rumbough, and Donald Handelman. The two paid $8.2 million for the East Hampton home of Merrill, who died in May 2017. It took more than a year to work out the sale. Merrill, the daughter of Marjorie Merriweather Post and Edward Francis Hutton, grew up in homes in New York and Florida. Merrill’s mother built Mar-a-Lago, which Donald Trump then bought in 1985. [27East]
