Compass has tapped Robin Abrams and her team from Eastern Consolidated to grow the brokerage’s new commercial division and advisory services.

Abrams, along with Lisa Rosenthal, Herman Glaswand, Rebecca Olshan, Curtis Woodside and Alexander Vellios will start at Compass on Tuesday, Commercial Observer reported. The team is the latest from the shuttered brokerage to find a new home.

Eastern Consolidated announced in June that it was permanently shutting down. Abrams served as principal and vice chairman of retail at Eastern for roughly a year. Before that, she was vice chairman at Lansco Corporation for 38 years.

She and her team will help bolster Compass’ commercial division, which launched in August after the company acquired San Francisco-based Paragon Real Estate Group. Earlier this month, Eastern’s Adelaide Polsinelli and Ronda Rogovin joined Compass to focus on investment sales. [CO] — Kathryn Brenzel
