Orlando Martinez, 54, was shot in the jaw and left in his locked car nearby a home he was scheduled to show last week.

The shooting is thought to have occurred at some point on Oct. 30 in Philadelphia and Martinez was found by police on the morning of Oct. 31 before dying of his injuries in hospital, according to Inman. Police think he may have been in the car for up to a day.

Martinez’s Honda was parked close to the 4500 block on Oakmont Street where one of his realty signs was placed on the lawn. The realtor lived in Westville, New Jersey.

“He has no priors, he’s not on our radar, he’s a family guy working for a living doing real estate,” Capt. John Ryan of the Philadelphia Homicide Unit told a local ABC affiliate. The police told Inman that they believe Martinez knew his killer.
