The Kaufman Organization hired “Ingenious Deal” recipient Jeff Rosenblatt away from the former Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors, which continues to shake out amid yet another leadership change.

The veteran broker and his team of three leasing specialists joined Kaufman Leasing Company to help bolster the firm’s brokerage arm.

“Having a strong promotional leasing platform is essential to support our continued growth and acquisition strategy,” said Kaufman principal Grant Greenspan, who added that Rosenblatt’s track record of “placing high-profile tenants in quality spaces” will be a boon to the company.

Rosenblatt, whose 30-year career includes stretches at Newmark Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield, last year represented Vince Camuto Shoes in a 43,000-square-foot lease at Shorenstein Properties’ 1407 Broadway.

The Kaufman Organization is expanding its brokerage and acquisition businesses, and Rosenblatt will have opportunities to invest in future properties, the company said.

Former company president George Kaufman died earlier this year at the age of 89.

Rosenblatt’s old company, meanwhile, is going through another iteration.

Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors received a name change in April when First Capital Real Estate Investments purchased the franchise from Utah-based Coldwell Banker Commercial for an undisclosed price.

Coldwell Banker Commercial’s owner, the hedge fund sponsor Waterfall Asset Management, bought CBC Advisors in 2012 from Realogy.

Last year Peter Sabesan and Richard Selig, who launched CBC Advisors in 2010, left the company for Cresa.
