Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez roughly break even on 432 Park unit they bought last year

Little more than a year after moving into Macklowe Properties’ 432 Park Avenue, newly engaged Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are moving on.

The celebrity couple sold their 4,000-square-foot apartment to BBH Ventures LLC for $15.75 million, the New York Post reported, citing property records. The outlet reported last week that the unit, on the 36th floor of the 96-story tower, had gone into contract. Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group had the listing.

The pop star and former Yankee pitcher put the unit back on the market in January, less than a year after buying it for $15.3 million. The original asking price was pegged at $17.5 million, and while the sale price came out less than that, the couple still made a profit of $440,000 — or less once various transaction and brokers fees are taken out.
