Wharton Properties paid about $12M for HSBC location in Midwood

The $11.75 million sale of a two-story bank in Midwood led New York’s mid-market investment sales last week. Other deals included a six-story multifamily building and a four-story office. Here are the details:

Jeff Sutton’s Wharton Properties purchased a two-story bank from HSBC at 1600 Kings Highway in Midwood for $11.75 million. The financial giant has four Brooklyn branches — in Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope, Boerum Hill and Williamsburg, according to its website.

Prilep Properties bought a multifamily building in the Bronx at 1135 Boynton Avenue for $10.9 million from a trio of New York-based LLCs. The Soundview property stands six stories with 83 units across 86,190 square feet, according to the city.

An LLC linked to the real estate law firm Getler & Gomes bought a four-story office building in Brooklyn Heights for $10.5 million from ACHS Management. The property at 100 Livingston Street spans 12,681 square feet with three units, according to the city.

A Manhattan-based LLC purchased 273 Church Street in Tribeca for $10.5 million from 273 Church Street Associates. The mixed-use building stands four stories tall and includes residential and commercial space across about 7,800 square feet, according to the city.
