The AD Design Show has been postponed until June in the wake of concerns about the coronavirus.

The show was originally scheduled to take place from March 19 through March 22 at Pier 94 in Manhattan by 55th Street and 12th Avenue, but it will now take place from June 25 through June 28 instead, organizers recently announced.

“Growing concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have prompted the rescheduling by the Show Management, Condé Nast, and many of its operating partners,” the group wrote on the event’s website. “Our top priority is the health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees, volunteers, and staff.”

The Real Deal is the media partner for the show.

Events scheduled for the 2020 exhibition include a meet and greet with designer Victoria Hagen and a kitchen concept presentation by Kathy Ireland Worldwide.

The AD Design Show is just the latest real estate event to be postponed due to the coronavirus. JLL is rescheduling its upcoming conferences, for instance, including a rising stars event that had been planned for late March and a top producers conference that had been planned for late April.

MIPIM, one of the industry’s largest gatherings, is also being postponed until June. The event was supposed to kick off March 10 in Cannes, but was delayed after a woman tested positive for coronavirus in the resort town.

Over the weekend, Gov. Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency as the number of cases continued to grow. As of Monday morning, there were more than 100 confirmed cases in the state.
