Bumpy streets plague Upper West Side residents

Despite the ritzy address, luxury condominium residents at 10 West End Avenue are plagued by bumpy roads. Sinkholes and rough terrain are damaging vehicles and causing accidents, residents say. Local officials are looking to determine whose responsibility the wholes are. The Department of Environmental Protection has said that it would fix the holes on the east side that were caused by a water main line break in February. There is still no plan for the street’s west side holes, where one tire still remains stuck inside the whole, opposite 10 West End.
