Imperioli sells Chelsea theater space

Michael Imperioli and 257 West 29th Street

Michael Imperioli of “The Sopranos” fame has sold the building that
housed his Chelsea theater company for $4.15 million, the Observer
reported. Imperioli originally listed the walk-up, mixed-use property
at 257 West 29th Street for $5.5 million in 2008 with the Corcoran
Group’s Susanne Columbia, but it underwent several rounds of price cuts
before finally selling this month. The theater group, Studio Dante,
which Imperioli runs with his wife, Victoria, also has space at 499
Canal Street. The couple purchased that mixed-use property for $2.4
million in 2007 because Studio Dante needed more space. Imperioli
recently put his Tribeca townhouse on the market for $6.995 million. [NYO]
