Rosie O’Donnell’s old Nyack home for sale

A riverfront Victorian mansion in Nyack, N.Y. that was once owned by actress Helen Hayes and then later, by talk show host Rosie O’Donnell, is back on the market for $5.9 million. In the video above, the Wall Street Journal tours the 19th-century Rockland County home, which is is known as “Pretty Penny,” reportedly because Hayes, who lived there until her death in 1993, had joked that that was how much it cost to buy and maintain the property. The 7,000-square-foot house has six bedrooms and five bathrooms and currently belongs to art dealer Graham Arader, who said he’s selling because there’s rarely time for his family to spend in Nyack between all of his children’s activities in Manhattan, where they live during the week.
