Town’s holiday bash draws hundreds: PHOTOS

Town Residential threw another one of its blowout holiday bashes last night, summoning almost 800 brokers, developers and other guests to the Meatpacking District club and restaurant Tao Downtown.

Held on the third anniversary of the brokerage’s founding, the party brought together CEO Andrew Heiberger, who chatted with guests in a dapper black suit; President and COO Jeff Appel; developer Joe Sitt, an investor in Town; developer Morris Moinian; and, of course, scads of Town brokers from across the city.

An open bar and sumptuous food choices — from chicken lollipops and tuna tartare hors d’oeuvres to a buffet of silver trays — kept guests lubricated, as they packed into the tiered booths and expansive floor of the Tao, at 92 Ninth Avenue at 16th Street — watched closely by its signature multi-story, multi-armed statue. Meanwhile, on the upper floor of the 22,000-square-foot space, VIPs clustered on a private balcony behind a velvet rope. — Leigh Kamping-Carder
