The third and final section of the tourist-swamped High Line opened to the public on Sunday, marking the end of 15 years of development.

Pedestrians can now amble through a ceaseless 22-block stretch between Gansevoort and 34th streets, according to Curbed.

Known as High Line at the Rail Yards, the park’s final portion runs from 30th Street and Tenth Avenue, before cutting west, and continuing north to 34th Street near the West Side Highway.

However, a small section of the 1.45-mile-long park will remain inaccessible until construction of 10 Hudson Yards is complete in 2015. [Curbed]Christopher Cameron
