Cobble Hill, Malba take top spots

A three-story Cobble Hill townhouse that sold for $6 million was the largest residential home sale in Brooklyn recorded in January, according to PropertyShark data.

The five-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot property at 325 Degraw Street was built in the late 1890s. The second priciest sale on the list was also in Cobble Hill. The three-story carriage house at 32 Verandah Place sold for $5.98 million.

Next, a three-story Brooklyn Heights townhouse at 30 Garden Place went for $5.8 million.

A three-and-a-half-story Clinton Hill house spanning nearly 6,600 square feet sold for $4.6 million. The property, at 407 Vanderbilt Avenue, was built in 2002 and sits next door to the former Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital. In Fifth Place, a two-and-a-half-story Manhattan Beach suburban home at 156 Dover Street closed for $4.4 million.

QUEENS SALES

Over in Queens, a two-story mansion in Malba was the borough’s priciest residential sale recorded in January, PropertyShark data showed. The 7,400-square-foot house at 7 Summit Place changed hands for $2.9 million.

The next two sales occurred in Hunter’s Point – a three-story townhouse at 21-14 45th Avenue ($2.4 million) and a penthouse condo at 10-63 Jackson Avenue ($2.1 million).

Rounding out the top five were two deals for the same price — $2 million. The homes were a penthouse condo at the F&T Group’s One Fulton Square project at 39-16 Prince Street in Flushing and a two-and-a-half suburban home at 180 Greenway South in Forest Hills.
