After numerous delays, the opening of the 7 train’s new 11th Avenue stop is imminent, according to an MTA official.

“The work is basically, pretty much complete, and we are actually running the last tests and in compliance of inspections,” Michael Horodniceanu, president of MTA Capital Construction, told the New York Daily News.

Horodniceanu said the new stop, located at 34th Street and 11th Avenue, will be open by September 13.

Construction on the project, which extends the line from Times Square, started in 2007. The stop had been slated to open in Summer 2014, prompting a flurry of property grabs in the area. But the opening has been delayed multiple times due to a myriad of problems.

The stop will service the Hudson Yards megadevelopment and the Jacob Javits Center. [NYDN] — Tess Hofmann
