Coldwell Banker names Ayoub Rabah president of Chicago region

Replaces Fran Broude, who oversaw the 50 offices since 2007

Coldwell Banker named Ayoub Rabah the new president of its Chicago region.

Rabah replaces Fran Broude, who led the brokerage sent 2007, according to Crain’s.

Broude oversaw 50 Coldwell Banker offices in the Chicago area, including parts of Indiana, Wisconsin and southwest Michigan. She will become senior vice president of growth strategies for the New Jersey-based company in January.

In 2017, the brokerage did $9.7 billion in sales volume in the Chicago area, according to the Colorado-based consulting firm Real Trends, making it tops in the area. No. 2 was @properties, with more than $9 billion, according to the ranking.

Rabah is a former real estate broker who since 2013 has been senior vice president of marketing at Chicago-based Home Partners of America, which is known for its rent-to-own program. [Crain’s] — John O’Brien
