Mark your calendars: These are Chicago’s top real estate events next week

There are two real estate industry events on the calendar in Chicago next week.

On Wednesday, Urban Land Institute Chicago is hosting an event on Opportunity Zones & Community Development at HFF, 150 North Riverside Plaza, Suite 2500. The event is part of a three-part series and the guest speaker is Matt Reilein of Cresset Partners, who will speak on the fundamentals of how opportunity zones will impact real estate investing.

On Thursday, Bisnow is holding an event on the State of Office in Chicago at the JW Marriott Chicago, 151 West Adams Street. The event will offer chances to network along with discussions with industry professionals on how office sales presented a strong showing in 2018 and how 2019 can either build or fail to capitalize upon that success. Speakers include Brandon Svec of CoStar and Jay Longo of SCB.
