Three real estate industry events are on the calendar next week in Chicago.
On Wednesday, Urban Land Institute Chicago is hosting an event on Real Estate Private Equity & Technology at HFF, 150 North Riverside Plaza, Suite 2500 from 5;30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is the second of a three-part series. Guest speaker Tom Briney of Origin Investments will discuss how his firm has blended technology with its capital raising and investing techniques.
On Thursday, the Chicago Real Estate Council is holding an event on Affordable Housing — State of the Industry at the East Bank Club, 500 North Kingsbury Street from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Industry experts will examine the success of the Chicago housing market in 2018. Speakers include Eugene Jones Jr. of the Chicago Housing Authority and Joy Aruguete of Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation.
Also on Thursday, BOMA/Suburban Chicago is hosting its Office and Commercial Real Estate Expo for 2019 at 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.. This event will include networking opportunities and a trade show.
