Two real estate industry events are on the calendar next week.
On Thursday, the Real Estate Investment Association is holding an event on rent control in Chicago at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 111 West Grand Avenue, from 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. The event will include a panel discussion focusing on how rent control could impact tenants, housing markets and the economic future of Chicago. Panelists will be Brian Bernardoni of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Stuart Handler of TLC Management and Sam Kahan of Kahan Consulting.
Also on Thursday, CREW Chicago is hosting its 2019 Annual Industry Achievement Award Dinner at The Standard Club, 320 South Plymouth Court, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event aims to acknowledge influential women in the industry. This year’s honoree is Trish Kelly, president at TCF Commercial Banking, who is being recognized for more than 30 years of leadership in the real estate industry.
