David Neithercut, the longtime CEO of apartment investor Equity Residential, listed his condo in the tower at 900 North Michigan Avenue.

Neithercut — who stepped down from the role in January — and his wife are seeking $3.85 million for the 4,200-square-foot home, according to Crain’s. The couple paid $4.2 million for it in 2008, according to the report.

Part of a cluster of offices that were converted into condos in 2005, the home has 10-foot ceilings, a terrace and a combined kitchen and dining area. It’s on the southeast corner of the building, giving residents a long view down the Michigan Avenue.

Neithercut listed the condo less than three months after he stepped down as CEO of the massive real estate investment trust founded by Sam Zell. He was succeeded in the role by CFO Mark Parrell.

Neithercut had served as CEO since 2006, overseeing massive transactions like the 2016 sale of a 23,000-unit residential portfolio to Starwood Capital Group for nearly $5.4 billion. He remains on the company’s board of trustees.
