Bulls guard Zach LaVine is looking to sell an 8,000-square-foot Lakeview mansion he bought just 10 months ago.

LaVine is listing the five-bedroom home at 1746 West Surf Street for $3.4 million, after buying it in September for less than $3.3 million, according to the Chicago Tribune.

It’s unclear why LaVine is looking to sell so soon. Listing agent Joe Kotoch of Compass did not respond to a Tribune request for comment.

The Italianate-style mansion sits on a double lot on a cul-de-sac. It was built in 2006 by JDL Development.

The Bulls acquired LaVine in 2017 from the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Jimmy Butler trade. He signed a four-year, $78 million deal with the team in July.

LaVine is looking to sell at a tough time for the luxury home market, with sales plummeting this year after a record-breaking year in 2018. [Chicago Tribune] — John O’Brien
