Here are the priciest resi sales in Chicago this week

They sold for a $10.4 million, about 50% of the $15.7M percent total from the previous week

This week’s five priciest homes sold for a combined $10.4 million. That’s about 50 percent of what they added up to last week, when the five top home sales totaled $15.7 million.

Three condos and two single-family homes made this week’s list. Four of the five are located in the Near North Side neighborhood and the other is just a big further north in Lakeview.

Price and property details were found on Redfin, from Feb. 28 to March 6.

180 E. Pearson St. #6602 | $2.4M | Near North Side
On the 66th floor of the 74-story Water Tower Place, this 3,000-square-foot condo was just fully renovated and marketed as a turn-key home. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, offering views of the lake and city from every room. The condo previously sold for $1.6 million in June 2018. Baird & Warner brokers Kimberly Gleeson and Leila Keene represented the seller and buyer, respectively, in the March 3 sale. A unit on the floor below sold for $2.6 million the week before.

1224 N. Aster St. | $2.2M | Near North Side
This nearly 6,000-square-foot home was built on a corner lot in the Gold Coast in 1909 and rehabbed in 2017. In addition to its five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, it features a 1,200-square-foot rooftop deck, seven fireplaces and an exercise room. Deena Schencker of Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing. Ryan Hardy of Gold Coast Realty Chicago was on the buy side. The house sold for $200,000 more in April 2016, before the renovation, than it did on Feb. 28.

64 E. Elm St. #3 | $2M | Near North Side
This 3,600-square-foot condo is located on the third floor of a building with a common roof deck. It was rehabbed in 2012 and previously sold for almost $1.9 million in April 2017. It was listed with Ivona Kutermankiewicz of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago. Jody Dickstein of @properties represented the buyer.

451 E. Grand Ave. #4204 | $1.8M | Near North Side
A 1,700-square-foot condo on the 42nd floor of Related Midwest’s One Bennett Park sold Feb. 28 for not quite $1.9 million. It has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty brokers Gwen Farinella and Bradley Brondyke had the listing. It’s unclear who represented the buyer.

This 2,000-square-foot house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Ian Halpin of Dream Town Realty had the listing. It was purchased with Amanda McMillan of @properties.
