A 14,260-square-foot, five-bedroom penthouse on the 89th floor of Chicago’s Trump International Hotel & Tower was listed for sale at $30 million, making it the city’s priciest actively listed home.

Sanjay Shah, CEO of Chicago-based software maker Vistex, bought the condominium as raw space at $17 million in 2014 and completed it with walls and ceilings, according to the Chicago Tribune. Shah never moved in and decided to sell because his children are grown and don’t need it.

The unit has floor-to-ceiling windows, a 19-foot ceiling in the living area and a private elevator and is the highest residential unit in the 92-story building. Chezi Rafeli of Coldwell Banker has the listing, which is being marketed as a penthouse. While a six-bedroom, 25,000-square-foot home in Lincoln Park is asking $45 million, that one isn’t considered an active listing because it isn’t allowing showings.

Condo prices at the Trump tower, which says penthouses are on the 86th through 89th floors, have slid about 30 percent since the building opened in 2009. Most recently, a three-bedroom condo at the Trump Tower in Chicago sold for $3.1 million after slashing the original price by more than $1 million.

Former President Donald Trump doesn’t have a financial stake in the building’s condo portion, he recently received a $300,000 property tax cut for the tower’s empty retail space. Trump has said he made more than $8 million in 2017 from the tower.
