Microsoft co-founder and former richest man in the world, Bill Gates, is selling his Hyde Park property.

The home on South Ellis Avenue is listed at $1.55 million, the Chicago Tribune reported. Gates and his former wife Melinda likely bought the home for their son, Rory, while he attended the nearby University of Chicago. The couple, who divorced last December, paid $1.25 million in 2018.

The three-story home, built in 1902, is 3,000 square feet, has five bedrooms and a finished basement. It also has a detached three-car garage in the back of the property.
