In a year ruled by luxury, Palm Beach County’s top-value residential real estate agent proved that less is more, achieving the highest average deal size with a low volume of sales.

Margit Brandt with Premier Estate Properties clocked an average of $19.4 million per home sale, according to a TRD Data analysis of the county’s top residential real estate agents and teams from Jan. 20, 2025 to Jan. 21, 2026, excluding off-market activity.

However, Brandt closed 19 sales last year — the fourth-lowest of the top 25 brokers in the county. Brandt’s sales came in at $369.2 million, good for seventh on TRD’s ranking by total transaction dollar volume.

Brandt’s performance in 2025 was an improvement from the year before, when she closed about $310 million in sales across 10 deals. Her average deal in 2024 was nearly $32 million.

Luxury home sales dominated Palm Beach County’s residential market last year, and not just on the island of Palm Beach.

Neighboring areas like Manalapan and North Palm Beach had some eye-popping deals as demand for ultra-luxury properties skyrocketed in the region. For instance, the heir to Wrigley chewing gum offloaded a North Palm Beach compound in North Palm Beach for $98 million.

The top-performing agents on TRD’s ranking handled fewer — but pricer — deals last year, underscoring challenging the market’s deal-closing conditions but the continued desire for high-priced homes. This elite cohort closed 1,531 deals over the past year, nearly 8 percent fewer than the year prior. But they totaled $7.1 billion, up by $1 billion from the year before. The average price was higher as well, $4.7 million last year compared to $3.7 million the year before.

The No. 1 broker by total dollar volume last year was Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate, who closed $673.4 million across 43 sales. Angle’s average last year was $15.7 million, third overall.
