The source data for this ranking comes from the city’s ACRIS database of real estate transactions, including original mortgages (doc type "MTGE") recorded between 7/3/23 and 6/28/24 in all five boroughs.
The dataset includes a ranking of the top 20 lenders overall, plus top-five rankings for residential and commercial lenders, ranked by total volume. All rankings also include the deal count for each lender. There are 28,160 loans in this dataset.
