Brooklyn retail leasing

For the third year in a row, The Real Deal set out to quantify the firms brokering the most retail deals in Brooklyn amid a fluctuating market.

The boutique brokerage RIPCO Real Estate took the top spot on TRD’s ranking with 405,300 square feet leased. The firm also brokered the largest transaction of the year in the borough, a 90,000-square-foot lease for Target at Surrey Equities and Gazit Horizon’s building in Gravesend. It was followed by Tri State Commercial Realty with 211,643 square feet, Cushman with 183,183 square feet, EXR with 152,947 square feet and, rounding out the top five, Newmark Knight Frank with 96,677 square feet.
