THE LUXURY SECTOR, DEFINED AS THE TOP 10 PERCENT OF ALL sales, saw median sales price decrease by 24 percent year-over-year. The median sales price finished off 2019 at $4.8 million, compared to $6.3 million the year prior. Inventory steadily rose through the year, reaching 1,814 at the end of the fourth quarter, a 34.7 percent increase from the same quarter in 2018.
