Source: First published in the June 2019 issue of The Real Deal. TRD analysis of Manhattan listings on LavaMap and StreetEasy, as well as properties submitted by firms. Includes Manhattan residential sales (apartments and townhouses with no commercial/retail component) that were active on April 15, 2019. Townhouses included single-family homes or properties marketed as such. For deals with more than one listing agent/team at the same firm, the dollar value of the asking price was divided evenly between them. But if a listing was co-listed with an agent/team at another firm, each agent/team was credited with the full dollar amount. On-site agents who work exclusively for a developer or new development marketing firm were not counted. However, agents who work for brokerages were given credit for their new development listings. Whisper listings and in-contract properties were also excluded. Not all firms participated.
