In May, Maddd Equities pre-filed plans for one of the buildings at its massive 273,431-square-foot affordable housing complex in the South Bronx, making it the largest project filed in the borough in 2018. The plans call for a 17-story, 250-unit building at 1164 River Avenue, right by Yankee Stadium. The company is partnering on the project with the affordable housing nonprofit Community Access. The secondlargest project was by TreeTop Development at 445 Gerard Avenue in Mott Haven. The projects spans 245,327 square feet and will include 300 residential units.
